What we do

Our passions include traditional textiles, organic farming, educational and cultural courses, AI tech, purposeful tourism and immersive experiences in addition to beekeeping; every activity renders value and new opportunities that unite our territory.

Traditional Weaving

We create silk threads, wool yarn and convert broom plant fibers to floss, creating that which weaves our historic past into present possibilities. Using our traditional warps, spinning wheels and looms, we create hand-made textiles reflecting the Genius Loci of our territory. Our craftsmanship is custodian to that which preserves the ancient know-how into unique modern day handmade textiles.

Farming

Our farm's mission is not only to grow organic produce, but to teach and offer holistic, therapeutic opportunities; providing inclusion for all. Our commitment is to nurture future generations locally and healthily for circular economic empowerment, wellbeing and longevity. We are custodians of our biodiversity. In addition to vegetables, greens and fruits, we specialize in mulberries, chestnuts and other small fruits, respecting our environment and ecosystem.

Beekeeping

At the heart of the PreSila Catanzarese are our bees, drawing life from ancient chestnut groves and mountain meadows innocent of synthetic treatments and chemical intervention. The surrounding flora thrives purely in the wild, each bloom produces nectar concentrated with natural defense antioxidants, bio-active enzymes, and undisturbed aromatic oils. Harvested with traditional reverence- pure, unheated, and untouched by additives- our artisanal chestnut and wildflower honey offers an exceptional vitality. It is biologically rich, naturally restorative and deeply expressive of the untamed landscape that cradles them.
